Restore, Repair, Reframe, Reconnect – an online restorative class series with Dia Penning from California
19 September 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
£45
Restorative Yoga Social Justice reading hour. Join Dia Penning for a special restorative class series. Each class is designed to support a renovation of your nervous system, while you listen to the words of the greatest minds in social justice and anti-racism. Dia will be shariing a text with us from start to finish and will leave us with a prompt for further self-study.
This is not a conversation series. It is an opportunity for you to relax your body and mind while taking in new and life changing information.
The course costs £45 with 10% of your payment going directly to Black Lives Matter UK. Attendance in person is encouraged to get the best experience but if you cannot make one date, we will email you a recording of the class to catch up over the week.
Dia Penning is a senior teacher, she has taught yin, restorative and lotus flow for the last 10 years. She has also run teacher training and workshops on social justice in the yoga world. Dia has a master’s in interdisciplinary arts and is the founder of the Equity Collective in Oakland Ca. The Equity Collective builds on honesty and non-violence to support the thorough investigation of social inequity and systems of oppression. Through collaboration across discipline, partners commit to the dismantling of inequitable social structures, and the creation of a society that practices radical inclusion.
