Monthly Restorative Super Session with Emily

Join Emily on the first Friday of the month for a special restorative yoga session.
Starting with some gentle movement to encourage ease and release, you will then be guided through a series of deeply restful postures, fully supported by the intelligent and intuitive use of props adapted to suit the needs of your unique body.
By removing the need to ‘do’ anything, the body and mind can begin to let go and drop into a parasympathetic state, AKA the relaxation response. The nervous system is calmed, breathing deepens and deeper held layers of tension may be safely released. Extended time spent in postures also gives the opportunity to experience the more subtle effects of physical forms on the mind-body.
We will resurface with some grounding practices to bring us back, as well as tea and a sweet treat to finish up.
Wear warm and comfortable clothing; all equipment provided.
No prior experience of yoga needed.
